Revealed by the NBA on Twitpic, the Sacramento Kings’s uniforms will have a different look from the previous two seasons.

The picture shows Kings rookie big man DeMarcus Cousins wearing a Kings road uniform with the numbers centered and a different neck style from last season.

The new look slightly resembles the uniforms the Kings wore from 1995-2002, while keeping the same letter scheme that was used on the previous uniform.

According to Akis Yerocostas from Sactown Royalty, who received an e-mail in April from Kings New Media Manager Andrew Nicholson, the Kings will be participating in a Hardwood Classics night in the upcoming season and the team is working on creating an alternate jersey.

Sacramento is one of seven teams to either change or tweak their uniforms. The other six are the Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks.
